FOJEM empowers low-income families to the same opportunities that more affluent families already have by providing them with the financial resources to send their children to school to learn a trade of their choice.  For the 2016-2017 school year, FOJEM sponsored 28 full-time students.

FOJEM provides more than a scholarship award – we help you find the path to a new career.

FOJEM’s belief is that all members of our community deserve to be taken care of, to be honored and protected as needed. This includes those who are advanced in years and those who are disabled and with special needs. FOJEM aims to help the seniors of our community live happily and independently for as long as possible by providing them with access to healthcare and nutritional meals daily.

Microcredit programs are promoted as a strategy for alleviating poverty and enabling women’s empowerment. FOJEM has sponsored a Microcredit program in the Northwest Region of Haiti for women business owners. We encourage women across  to realize their value and reach their potential through job training and education. As a result, many now can sustain their small businesses and feed and care for their own children.
